Apple Maps iOS7 isn't trying to kill you anymore

Last year we had some fun with the fiasco that was Apple Maps. One of the things mentioned to me that I didn't put in a post was the fact that even the icon for Apple Maps shows directions for driving off the middle of a freeway overpass.
